About Sweet Stina and this thing called life.
My name is Kristina, but my friends call me Stina. I was born and raised in a little town outside a big town in Oregon. *grin* I like learning new things and sharing what I learn with others! I have a new hobby pretty much each week! And as long it isn’t stupid, harmful to others or illegal I’ll try it!
For eleven years I studied ballet, jazz & tap dancing, but a severe accident prevented me to continue with my dancing career. So, I went on to college and I studied journalism and communication and fell in love with researching and learning new things on my own. I think I spent $30,000 in student loans just to learn that learning can be self taught if you put the right time and motivation into things.
I have my Bachelors degree from the state university, but i found my way into education hooping to inspire others to learn. I love my job and my students. I am a jack of many and princess of everything; just ask my husband!
My mission is research various everyday life topics and share them with you as the reader as though we are just friends talking about life; sharing advise and experiences and discussing perspectives on day to day events. It’s as simple as that. So, here is me Sweet Stina, sharing with you all the sweetness that is life!
